What happened to Lily, the AT&T girl?
Lily Adams, the pleasant and funny store manager in AT&T ads, became one of television’s most well-known advertising personalities. Lily, played by actress Milana Vayntrub, won over audiences with her sense of humor, warmth, and relatable charm. But after years of appearing in innumerable advertisements, many admirers began to wonder: what happened to her?
Milana Vayntrub took a little break from the spotlight after receiving unwanted online attention, preferring to focus on her mental health and other creative pursuits. During that time, she continued to perform in television and cinema, appearing on shows such as This Is Us and Silicon Valley, as well as voicing Squirrel Girl in Marvel’s New Warriors.
In addition to her acting career, Milana has gained recognition for her charitable efforts. She co-founded Can’t Do Nothing, a non-profit organization that assists refugees all over the world – a subject close to her heart, as she herself arrived to the United States as a refugee from Uzbekistan.
Milana is still balancing her creative endeavors with her activism efforts. While “Lily from AT&T” is her most well-known role, her real-life accomplishments show she’s much more than simply a commercial figure – she’s a bright, compassionate lady who uses her platform for good.
